The contact spot welding machine MT-1917 has a vertical movement of the upper electrode with a pneumatic drive. The machine is equipped with a thyristor contactor made using a thyristor module, to ensure high reliability of the module uses water cooling. To increase the reliability of the machine the power devices are fitted with temperature control sensors, on the command of which the control unit blocks the operation of the machine.
